Stakeholder interviews, user research and a hard look at the existing product. Before anything is drawn, the problem gets written down in one sentence.
Structure
Flows, information architecture and low-fidelity wireframes. Cheap to change, and the fastest way to find out an idea doesn't work.
Design & systematise
High-fidelity UI built from tokens and components, so the tenth screen costs a fraction of the first and everything stays consistent.
Prototype & validate
Clickable prototypes put in front of real users. Findings go back into the design before a single line of production code is written.
Ship & support
Documented handoff, front-end implementation where it helps, and QA on the built result — because the design isn't done until it's live.
